For me, Land art, are not any sculpture or instalation placed in nature. The nature play a starring role.
My land art sculptures and installations are performed in conjunction with the natural and possibly cultural surroundings on site, and most often with the sites materials, for example. soil, branches, leaves, wood, straw bales, driftwood and stones.
The character of the material and the location of the art piece in relation to the landscape, the place or space, is important
The duration of the art piece can last from a few seconds to years before nature rules again.
For works produced in nature, I try, where possible, to use environmentally friendly products, emission petrol, biodegradable chainsaw oil, pure raw linseed oil, etc.
The art piece must not cause a strain on the environment, nor in material sense.
